Ichabod takes his pseudonym from 1 Samuel 4:21. The name means "No Glory" or "The glory has departed".  Ichabod feels that most congregations of the Restoration Movement have fallen into sectarianism causing the glory to depart from our movement like it departed from Israel of old. He has chosen to remain anonymous for the foreseeable future. His anonymity was at first motivated mainly by concern about backlash from the "brotherhood".  Being brutalized by the brotherhood isn't much of a concern nowadays, but he reckons that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".  Anonymity it will be until he decides otherwise.

Ichabod has been affiliated with Christian churches and non-instrumental Churches of Christ (both institutional and non-institutional) in various capacities since the early 1980's. His desire is a search for the truth and is willing to follow the truth where ever it may lead.
